World Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival

Dynamic, bright-red-haired Patricia Field, 82, is one of the world’s designer giants. She created the fashions in Sex and the City, The Devil Wore Prada and Emily in Paris, among many others, and has won two Emmys and an Oscar nod. Patricia is known as a curator of pop culture and for her famous downtown Manhattan boutique, which has been a magnet for stars like Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cyndi Lauper and RuPaul for 50 years. Jean-Michel Basquiat started out selling his paintings (now worth hundreds of millions) from the back of Patricia’s shop, and her store is an essential New York destination for cool shoppers from all over the world. In this era of female empowerment, Field is an exemplar of straight-shooting, no-nonsense candor and self-reliance that has paved the way for so many to follow.
