Opening Night Film at the Cannes Film Festival Directors’ Fortnight
The eccentric filmmaker’s latest effort is a hilarious and twisted […] amuse-bouche with tremendous cult appeal.”

In this dark comedy, Georges, played by Jean Dujardin (The Artist), is a clueless wannabe filmmaker, who spends far too much time admiring himself in the mirror while posing in his beloved, vintage deerskin jacket, which, frankly, is a little small for him and may have dark powers. When the jacket begins to talk to Georges, this loopy film becomes a character study of an amiable man’s descent into a silly but homicidal obsession├â┬ó├óΓÇÜ┬¼├óΓé¼┬¥a transition that goes unnoticed far too long by his bartender friend Denise, or the rest of the townspeople of this small Swiss village.
