Dynamically physical, wild-eyed performance. Hollywood Reporter

In juvenile detention, Daniel, 20, more or less finds Christ, but is told that he can never be a priest because of his criminal record. Upon his release, he is sent to a remote town to work in a sawmill, but in an impulsive lie backed by the clerical collar he swiped, Daniel convinces a young local, Marta, that he is a recently ordained priest. He soon meets the elderly vicar, who persuades Daniel to fill in for him while he is away. Nervous at first, Daniel brushes up on Bible passages and looks up priestly protocol on the web. But soon he's improvising impassioned sermons, causing the number of churchgoers to swell. Daniel is a great priest, and the people love him—even more so as he edges towards a dark secret that the community hasn't revealed in the confessional booth. Subtitled.
