World-class runner Stephanie Case founded the NGO Free to Run to enable women to safely run outdoors, transforming the lives of thousands of girls in conflict regions. In 2021, while training to take on the hardest trail marathon of her life – the Tor des Glaciers 450km in the Alps – the Taliban takes over Afghanistan and threatens the basic human rights of women across the country. As one of few women to run the Tor des Glaciers, she must find a way forward for herself, and her Afghan crew.
